YoriMap

Privacy Policy

Last updated November 1, 2026

YoriMap is made by MultiCloudServices. This policy explains what the YoriMap app does with your information. In short: your places and trips stay on your iPhone, there is no account, and we never sell or share your information.

What stays on your device

Your saved places, lists, trips and settings are stored on your iPhone (and on your Apple Watch when you use it). We don't receive them. If you delete the app, they are deleted.

Your location

With your permission, YoriMap uses your location on your iPhone to show where you are, find places near you, and guide a trip you've started. During a trip it can use your location in the background until you end the trip. Your location is never sent to us.

What YoriMap sends to our server

Our server runs on Amazon Web Services in Tokyo, Japan. Daily usage counters are deleted after three days.

Other services

YoriMap uses Apple Maps for maps, search, walking and travel times. When you open a place in Google Maps, Tabelog, Tripadvisor or Yelp, that site opens and its own privacy policy applies. When you share or paste a link into YoriMap, the app reads that link to find the place's name. Train data comes from the Public Transportation Open Data Center (ODPT) through our server.

What we don't do

No accounts, no advertising, no analytics or tracking, and no selling or sharing of information with anyone.

Children

YoriMap is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

Your choices

You can turn off location access in your iPhone's Settings at any time, and you never have to answer an elevator question. Because reports aren't linked to you, we can't find one person's reports, but you can email us with any request.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, we will update this page and its date. Please contact support@yorimap.com with any questions about privacy.
